All the students in the class held their breath, eyes darting toward the figure napping on his desk. The professor had finally noticed that he was dead asleep rather than simply paying attention with his head resting on his arms. I was born into a normal family -- a mother, a father, and a little brother. I grew up with normal friends. Sure, there were times when I got into tight situations, but I always lucked out and life always went back to normal. I had a lot of opportunities many others didn't have. I never took advantage of it, but I never tried to make any extra effort, either. It was peaceful. I was happy. I had a peaceful, happy life.
